POST-FACIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Congratulations on completing your facial! To help your skin fully absorb the benefits of your treatment and maintain that fresh glow, here are a few important aftercare tips:

  • Stay Hydrated

  • Drinking plenty of water helps your skin flush out toxins and stay hydrated from the inside out.

  • Skip Makeup for the Day

  • Allow your skin to breathe and absorb all the nourishing products from your facial. If possible, avoid makeup for at least 24 hours.

  • Avoid Exfoliation

  • Your skin has already been exfoliated during your facial, so avoid scrubs, exfoliants, and harsh treatments for at least 48 hours.

  • Sun Protection is a Must

  • Your skin may be more sensitive after a facial, so apply SPF daily and avoid direct sun exposure.

  • Avoid Heat & Sweat

  • Skip hot showers, saunas, and intense workouts for 24 hours, as heat can irritate freshly treated skin.

  • No Picking or Touching

  • Let your skin heal naturally — avoid touching, picking, or squeezing blemishes.

  • Avoid Alcohol & Caffeine

  • For the next 24 hours, try to avoid alcohol and excess caffeine. Both can dehydrate the skin and slow down the healing process.

  • Follow Product Recommendations

  • Your aesthetician may suggest Dermalogica products to continue your skincare routine at home. Following this advice can extend and enhance your facial results.

  • Schedule Your Next Appointment

  • Regular facials help keep your skin balanced and healthy. Ask your aesthetician when you should book your follow-up treatment!
